The best news app I have found. Lots of news in easy to scan format. Definitely recommended.
Simple interface with many news categories that are easily and quickly selected make this my go to news app.
Other news apps Ive tried are so slow to load and filter through news categories, a clean interface is so much quicker and useful.
This the best Canadian news app I have used. After trying many and being disappointed, I cant say enough good things about this app, and heavily recommend it. Keep up the great work!
Some bad moments
In theory a very good rss reader.
However, it crashes frequently, so I tend to prefer flipboard.
It was an excellent app until it stopped loading stories over 3G and LTE.
Slow to load news stories, and using any link to a providers site causes the app to crash. Also, some providers only allow 20 articles to be accessed, and then no longer work. Overall good news coverage, but irritating.
The app works very well. Loads of headlines and stories.
Problem: Im in Canada and the "local news" (ie not global) is set to the UK.
Ive turned off every British news feed and enabled every Canadian one. No dice.
Pity, but Ive tried for a week and will be uninstalling.
This was a great app that I used all the time but adds started to pop up that were way to annoying to use. Huge.....Dont bother with it.
When you drill into the articles it not unusual for the app to crash.
Paying to remove ads on the ipad does not do the same on your iPhone.
Grouping similar articles, the biggest draw for me, works about 85% of the time.
Solid start but frustrating.
Id like to see more / better user controlled filtering and grouping.
